We have found a jewel of a property on a small island called Femø, located in the south of Denmark.
The location is indeed something special. The breathtaking views, the Teepee and the quiet energy of a compound on the highest point of a small island, with only a little more than 100 inhabitants.
The house is from 1878 and when we got the keys in the summer of 2017, it was a mess inside and outside. With help from friends we made it habitable very quick and are now slowly renovating to the standard we want. It is still rustic but no one has ever complained.
The accommodation is shared in rooms of two, three and four people.
With time, we will establish a biodynamic vegetable garden to become self-sustainable.
